In the Natural History Museum in Berlin, I stand face-to-face with a taxidermied animal:

"You deceive me into believing you are real, as I have grown accustomed to reducing the chaos of life into simple images. And so, I accept you as true."

Combining the museum's taxidermied animals, AI-generated visuals, live footage, and digitally constructed environments, the work moves through shifting states between the natural and the artificial, the living and the simulated, the real and the fabricated.

The experience is mediated through a VR headset, another set of artificial eyes through which reality is encountered.
